Each year during March, the graduating classes from SMCS go head-to-head in a friendly competition, seeing which class can accumulate the highest percentage of donations from their graduates. Any amount donated to the Annual Fund from the beginning of the fiscal year until early April counts towards the class’ total. The competition starts in mid-March and goes until early April.
Every alumni class is invited to participate. Rankings are based on percentages, not dollar amounts. Up until March, classes are participating in pool play, vying for a chance to make it to the top 16 classes. When the competition begins, the top 16 classes are placed in a bracket and compete against another specific class. Single elimination will happen over the course of several weeks, with the winning class announced in April.
