21st Century Parenting, Keeping Your Child Safe:
SMCS is pleased to host the next session in the ON TRACK education series: QPR for 21st Century Parenting, Keeping Your Child Safe
The presentation will take place on Tuesday April 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Jane Bergstrom Fine Arts Education Center. Community Liaison Officer Dan Wiechman of the Village of Fox Crossing Police Department, will provide tips about monitoring your child’s social media presence, new drug trends in our community and ways to keep your child safe during these challenging times. This session is geared toward parents with children in grades 5-12.
This event is suggested for educators, parents, coaches and other adults who care about the well being of students and are concerned about their use of social media.
The ON TRACK series of evening seminars is hosted in the black box theater at the Jane Bergstrom Fine Arts Education Center located at St. Mary Catholic High School in partnership with community resources and experts, at no cost to the community.
