Builder’s Club Meeting
If your child signed up to be part of the Builder’s Club (formerly Junior Optimist), our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 15th from 3:20-4:50. Our project this month is to write out Christmas cards for the brave men and women in our military. To ensure on-time delivery, this task is done in November.

Students should come prepared to write out 10 to 12 greeting cards each. It is important that everyone comes to the meeting prepared for this service activity.

Non-perishable Food Collection
We are now collecting non-perishable food and personal hygiene items for our November school project/collection. We have a wonderful tradition of collecting
at this time of year and then having our sixth graders take the items to St. Thomas Church (across from St. Patrick’s in Menasha).

St. Thomas is a very gracious neighbor and host, letting us use their building free of charge for retreats. In exchange for that hospitality, we take our collection to them which is used to replenish their food closet which in turn is given out to those in need right here in our own community. You may recall that St. Thomas is the home of a free lunch program called Double Portions. It is wonderful that our student can be part of this great tradition again this year.
