St. Mary Catholic Schools (SMCS) welcomes Beth Knapinski as its Senior Director of Strategic Advancement.

“SMCS is excited and blessed to welcome Beth into the role of Senior Director of Strategic Advancement,” SMCS Superintendent Tim Schigur said. “Beth’s experiences and expertise will lead the marketing, enrollment and advancement team to assist with the growth and vitality of the SMCS community.”

Beth joins SMCS after serving in marketing, communications and philanthropy leadership and executive roles in the healthcare, nonprofit and tourism industries across the United States, including in Nebraska, Washington, Wisconsin and Vermont. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., in 2014, and she attended SMCS for the entirety of her primary and secondary education, graduating from SMCS in 2012.

“It is a privilege to join the SMCS community to help advance its mission of preparing and inspiring students to lead meaningful lives rooted in the teachings of Christ in our Catholic tradition,” Knapinski said. “Through rigorous academics, service learning opportunities, faith formation and extensive co-curricular activities, SMCS has a rich legacy of empowering students to discover and develop their God-given talents and experience success throughout life. It is a joy to return to this school community and partner with leadership, students, staff, families, parishes, local community leaders and SMCS supporters to advance such an important mission.”

Beth is an active parishioner at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Neenah, Wisconsin, one of SMCS’s five Neenah/Menasha supporting parishes, and is actively involved in numerous community and non-profit organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, Biking for Babies, and Vida Medical Clinic and Support Services. Prior to joining the SMCS staff, she served her alma mater, SMCS, as a member on the SMCS Board of Trustees.
