Enrichment Program

Purpose & Mission

Designed for elementary students, our exciting enrichment program boasts a wide variety of opportunities that cultivate an environment in which young people flourish: one that challenges their minds, reinforces their moral growth, and promotes an active lifestyle.

The Enrichment Program offers after school alternatives to our students, builds community among SMCS elementary schools, and exposes our students to experiences that they may not otherwise get a chance to try. The program offers a variety of afterschool classes, including in athletics, STEM, and fine arts.

Policies

  • Emergency Contact: An emergency contact with phone number is required at time of registration.
  • Late Pick Up: If the responsible party is more than 10 minutes late to pick up, the student will be transferred to the host school’s afterschool care program where regular hourly rates apply.
  • Behavior Policy: If your child is dismissed from the class due to behavioral issues, a refund will not be issued.
  • Supervision of Children after Dismissal Until Class Time: Parents are responsible for their children from the time of dismissal until classes begin. Parents may pick up their children and bring them to class at the start time or sign up for after school care at the host school. In some cases, the enrichment teacher meets students at the dismissal location and leads them to class. Parents are responsible for checking to see if that is the case for the classes in which their children are enrolled.
