I am very excited to start my first (official year) teaching at SMCS!
I graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Art Education and a minor in History Education. I married my husband later that same year. I spent the next year subbing until I was offered a job at Rigby Middle School. While there I taught Science, Social Studies, Outdoor Survival, Leadership, and Creativity.
My husband and I moved to Colorado for a while where I subbed again. While there, I became certified in Social Studies.
We just moved to the area this last summer and we have loved it so far. We have enjoyed learning more about the area and seeing what Wisconsin has to offer. We recently adopted a mountain cur hound dog named Jake. When I’m not teaching or planning lessons, I enjoy going on adventures with my husband, crafting/painting, reading, or curling up to watch Netflix.
