New Championship Athletic Field and Track Complex

SMCS is continuing on our successful path of completing our state-of-the-art educational campus for our students. We have broken ground on a synthetic turf field for boys/girls soccer and football with an eight-lane regulation track in Zephyrs blue surrounding the field. This multi-million dollar complex will be built by Miron Construction with the architectural and engineering designed by Point of Beginning, Inc (POB).
SMCS Athletic & Activities Director Matt Schoultz stated “The growth in the athletic programs fueled by enrollment growth has created momentum for this project. I have complete confidence that these two firms who built the new Calder Stadium field in 2017 will finish on time for the scheduled date of August 1, 2020. Next year’s SMCS students will most definitely be competing at this new complex.”
Since SMCS built the fine arts center and new collaborative-learning concept middle school in 2014-15, the campus has added a world class fitness and wellness center, new baseball and softball fields, a tennis complex, a resource center, STEM and VEX labs and a high-tech high school commons.
