A special Veterans Day celebration, Take a Veteran to School, took place November 6  in the Jane Bergstrom Fine Arts Education Center on the campus of St. Mary Catholic High School.

In partnership with Charter Communications and The History Channel, SMCHS will welcomed a panel of veterans, both to honor and to learn from those who have served our country in an armed conflict. The occasion also featured the color guard, patriotic music performances by the high school band and choir, recognition of veterans in attendance and an address by Senator Roger Roth, an SMC alumnus.

The History Channel also filmed this event to be used in their Take a Veteran to School promotions.
