St. Mary Catholic Schools will host its fourth annual SMCS STEM Club Fly-In, “Up, Up and Away,” from 9 a.m.-Noon on July 23, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Middle School, 1000 Zephyr Dr., Neenah.

Open to students from grades 1 through 8, this year’s aviation educational event features a morning of exploring the world of flight through engaging, age-focused lessons and a variety of hands-on aviation activities. Attendees will learn how airplanes fly, and each attendee will receive a foam glider and control surface kit to explore the mechanics of flight. There will also be drones available to fly and model rockets to launch at the event.

The event is hosted by the SMCS STEM Club, which aims to encourage STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education and promote aviation education and the wonders of flight to young people.
