St. Mary Catholic High School (SMCHS) welcomes Jeff Hogenson as its new head baseball coach.

Hogenson has 20 years of coaching experience at numerous levels. He most recently has been a Hitting Instructor at Hitters Count Swing Lab, travel Baseball Coach with Wisconsin Swing and an Assistant Baseball Coach at St. Mary Catholic High School.

“We are excited to welcome Jeff as our head baseball coach”, SMCHS Athletic Director Matt Schoultz said. “Jeff will be an excellent leader for our Zephyrs Baseball Program. His experience coaching at many levels of baseball will help build our baseball program at all levels. Jeff will create a culture of selflessness, leadership development, instilling life-long skills, strong baseball fundamentals and help our student-athletes grow as young Christian men and women.”

“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to become the Head Baseball Coach for the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs. The Zephyrs baseball program has a winning tradition and I am honored to be selected as the next Coach to help continue building on that strong tradition.” Hogenson said. “I look forward to working with the players, families and SMCS staff to help build a culture of excellence for our baseball program on the field, in the classroom and in the community.”

The Zephyrs finished 14-7 overall record last season. Several major contributors will return to the 2021-2022 team.
