We are proud of all our SMCHS teams for their efforts and achievements. Here are some updates on how the teams are doing.

The SMCHS Girls Basketball Team has compiled a 9-4 conference record (12-6 overall) and earned 4th place in the 14 team Big East Conference. They began the conference tournament on Saturday,February 3 and WIAA tournament play on February 20.

The SMCHS Boys Basketball Team is 6-6 in conference played (9-8 overall). Following two more regular season games, they began the Big East Conference Tournament on Friday, February 9 and WIAA tournament play on Tuesday, February 27. Four members of the SMCHS Powerlifting Team have qualified for State including Olivia Tomasi, Ashston Miller, Jacob Kundert and James Schultz.

The SMCHS Forensics Team is off to a great start. Molly Uitenbroek and Caroline Connolly have earned two first place awards in Play Acting and Katelyn Flanagan placed 4th in Radio Speaking. The team competed on Saturday, February 3 in Winneconne.

SMCHS has two players on the Fox Cites Stars JV Hockey Team, Jack Bogner and Ethan Collins. The team has a 4-15-1 record.

All four SMCHS VEX Robotics Teams have qualified for the VEX Robotics Wisconsin State Championship in Madison in March and the VEX U.S. Open in Council Bluffs, Iowa in April. The next competition is February 17 at Xavier High School.

The SMCHS Dance Team has entertained the fans at several basketball games this season. There are 11 members on the team.
