In conjunction with the High School Christmas Giving Project, the Middle School’s Builder Club will be putting forth their Advent project. They are collecting items for the school of Valle Nuevo in the Dominican Republic. Please see the list below for donation ideas. They are also encouraging all school families to celebrate Advent within your home parishes. Look around your church to see what wonderful things they are doing for Advent. Many churches, for example, will have a “Giving Tree,” a food collection or donation station for some organization like Christine Ann Center or the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. Please consider participating with your family in any of these worthwhile Advent projects, and give generously.

Items can be brought to the middle school:

Pencils, pens and notebooks

Markers, crayons and colored pencils

Children’s books (In English or Spanish)

Gently used clothing and shoes for young children (not high school)

Educational toys and working electronic devices
