On April 25, 2017, eighth graders from St. Mary Catholic Middle School and their chaperons will embark on a trip they will remember for a lifetime.
Under the seasoned supervision of social studies teacher Tom Kropidlowski, the group will travel via airplane to our nation’s capital. The non-stop adventure will begin early each morning and will include tours of most of the major monuments and memorials in the city, as well as a visit to Mt. Vernon. Four students who were chosen from among those who submitted essays to a panel of teachers will have the honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
We wish these travelers a safe and wonderful trip.
