I have been teaching at St. Mary Catholic Middle School since 2007. I taught science at Seton Catholic Middle School when it first opened in 1989 and remained at Seton until I became a stay at home mom in 1992. I teach seventh grade and eighth grade science classes. I am certified to teach PLTW Medical Detectives and Energy and the Environment modules which are incorporated within the 7th and 8th grade science classes. I truly value the opportunity to integrate my Catholic faith in my teaching and love being part of a faith-filled community.
I graduated from St. Norbert College with a major in biology and a secondary education license. I also completed some graduate level work at Marquette University with an emphasis on neurobiology.
I enjoy spending time with my family. I’m married to my college sweetheart, Bill. My oldest daughter Elizabeth is a graduate student at University of Illinois Chicago, my daughter Jennifer is a high school choir teacher, and my son, Ben, is a student at UW Oshkosh. I enjoy traveling and spending time at our cottage on Lake Poygan. I volunteer as a church pianist and high school catechist for Holy Spirit parish where I also serve on several committees.
