I am a native of Appleton, WI and a graduate of Xavier High School where I am a member of the Class of 2009. After high school, I attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and graduated as a member of the Class of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from the school Kinesiology within the College of Education and Human Development.
While at Minnesota, I worked as a Student Manager with the Men’s Basketball Program under the direction of then-Head Coach Tubby Smith. During my time with Gopher Basketball, I was able to be involved year-round in the Men’s Basketball Office, travel the country to a number of our away games and get a lot of hands-on experience working in a variety of roles within an NCAA, Division 1 Athletic Department.
I came to SMC in 2013 and have enjoyed every day here. I am a very strong believer that co-curricular activities can play a pivotal role in an individual’s growth and development. We like to tell people that our Athletics and Clubs are Co-Curricular Activities, rather than Extra Curricular Activities, because we believe they are an extension of the classroom. I am happy to say that all of our coaches, advisers, and mentors do a great job at upholding our belief.
I look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events!
