VEX Competition Season Winter/Spring 2017

April 19-22, 2017: (updated April 20, 2017) Two SMCS teams are competing at the VEX Worlds – VEX Robotics Competition in Louisville, Kentucky.

April 5-8, 2017: The Zephyrs did a great job at the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship in Council Bluffs, Iowa in early April, making it to the semi-final round.

March 3/4, 2017: Five SMCS Teams Compete in WI State VEX Meet

Big congratulations to our five SMCHS VEX teams (two of whom qualified for the world tournament!) who competed in the state competition at MSOE in early March with the following results:

1200F Z-Ballers finished in the second place Finalist Position. This qualifies them for the VEX Robotics World Championship.
1200F Z-Ballers Won the Amaze Award
1200C Technical Breakdown won the Design Award. This qualifies them for the VEX Robotics World Championship.
1200A Syntax Error won the Sportsmanship Award

(January 7, 2017) Successful VEX Robotics Tournament  

St. Mary Catholic High School hosted its annual VEX Robotics tournament on Saturday, January 7, 2017 where 32 teams competed for a chance to advance to the state, national and world tournaments.
